| it's been a while.
the most newsworthy thing right now is...
i've been transferred stores. while i used to be at john rolfe, the powers that be have decided they'd rather have me at chesterfield town center. it's a slightly longer drive, with more responsibility and a management position (all of which i stepped down from five years ago), but.. whatever. :P i'll do it for now, i suppose.
it's not much of an update, sure, but it's longer than a two-word sentence. so there.
oh, and 300. amazing movie. intense, gripping, rife with cinematic imagery. it was quite the experience. it was well worth the money to see it in the theaters.

| so after being denied the chance to see prince in concert at the superbowl halftime show, i resorted to downloading the broadcast.
i must say, i was quite impressed. even in the rain, and even at his age, prince can still put on a good show. i didn't care for the first couple songs, but the performance really began to vamp up as he continued . . . and what a perfect song to end on - purple rain, sung *in* the rain.
i liked it. very much.
oh, and if anyone else was denied the chance to see the greatness, i have it hosted, located here (right click to save).
other than that, not much going on...
